SHOULD READ 20th CENTURY NOT 19thC CONDITION REPORT: Highly decorative and all hand worked piercing and carving. The outer panels with vertical calligraphic characters incorporated into the main design, a single character appears on the other four panels. The piercing and carving of considerable delicacy. Antique style and antiqued paint and gilt finish. Panels are held together with standard hinges and could be separated to configure to alternate size (for use as a headboard for example). Some upper section panels with old breaks and reglued.
