This extraordinary house and extensive gardens overlooking the Manukau Harbour were opulently furnished in international style with pieces that complement the grand scale of the property. Massive Romanesque marble statuary, colossal Italianate cast bronze and cast iron fountains and urns, rich French and Venetian style furnishings, mirrors, candelabra, Oriental porcelains and sizeable carved stone pieces, along with many varied and sophisticated chattels are offered in the catalogue. Courier and packing options are available at buyers expense and risk. Preferred carriers will be on standby at buyers expense. The size and weight of many items must be considered when bidding ! Payment is online only. No payment can be received at Laingholm. Credit card with surcharge can be accepted, Visa or Mastercard only. Cordy's staff will be available for collection at Laingholm on Wednesday 17th and Thursday 18th February for the smaller items. Larger items will require a Cordy's preferred carrier or a carrier agreed with by Cordy's. The residence is of a high quality and all concerned wish for it to remain that way. By arrangement smaller items can be brought back to Cordy's 553 Mount Eden Road for Collection.
