all over engraved decoration of multiple zebras, in striking black on white on clear colourway. H.285mm. With original purchase receipt from Kirra, Australia 30-11-2005 $7676 Australian. Note: Born in England in 1935, Rish spent her teenage years in Kenya, (were she took a keen interest in the wildlife) before going to the Edinburgh College of Art. After graduation she was employed as a freelance engraver with Whitefriars Glass in London. In 1958 she joined the Hadelands Glassworks in Norway. Rish is recognised as a leading glass artist in Australia and is well regarded internationally. She exhibits regularly overseas and in Australia and has been commissioned for engraved presentation pieces for Government and Royalty.
