Lot Details
Iron red and greenish-brown wax resist pattern. The reddish-tan glaze is from Japanese volcanic rock Len brought back from Mashiko in 1966. Note: Impressed mark of less common “IC” style with a lower-case L to the left of the capital C. Made at Len’s Paturoa Road kiln, Titirangi, 1970s. Dia.400mm. Provenance: From a life long Auckland collector and friend of the potter.
