very minor staining, one minor edge nick. Stamped on ricasso with initials ‘V.W’ and ‘Crown/L/8’. Inspector's marks. 3 bar hilt with sold-out-of-service mark. Steel back-strap with ears, black leather over wood grip, wire absent. Scabbard some rust. Provenance: NZAHHA Wellington , 30/07/2011, Lot 1041, $869.
