with lock marked ‘Tower 1856’ with crown over ‘VR’, 39" barrel, bore with rust, muzzle dented. Missing ramrod. Action good. Metal work covered in a heavy varnish but appears sound. Split in trigger guard tang at forward screw mounting. Provenance: NZAHAA, 17/07/2010, Lot 1430, $2169. No firearms license required.
