48mm plain case hallmarked London 1888 by Harrison Mill Frodsham, case back cover with blue enamelled monogram HFW. Inner 18ct gold dust cover with presentation inscription 'H. F. Webster from H.F. 1889'. Front cover with blue enamel Roman numerals and rail track minutes framing the window. Off white enamel dial with Roman numerals, rail track minutes, sunken subsidiary seconds dial at VI, signed 'Chas Frodsham & Co., 07799'. 122gm Repeater movement supplied by Nicole Nielsen (see Frodsham supplier records in Vaudrey Mercer, The Frodshams). Plate back signed Chas. Frodsham, 84 Strand, London. By Appointment to the Queen. No.07799. AD.Fmsz (1). Actuator slide on band at VI. (1) From 1850 the majority of the finest Frodsham watches were marked 'AD.Fmsz', a cryptogram for the year AD1850.
