artistic oval form of woven broad wicker, raised side loop handle. H.220mm. CONDITION REPORT: Originally designed for ikebana floral art arranging. Asymmetrical form made using a heavy palm leaf and a lighter weight but darker colour leaf for the sinuous handle. Heavier feel than the other cane baskets in the auction. Some surface variations to the finish/polish but overall in good condition commensurate with vintage age.
