squared rounded form with over-head loop handle. H.325mm. CONDITION REPORT: Originally designed for ikebana floral art arranging. Symmetrical form made using a split cane of light weight. The relatively simple squat square form enhanced by the addition of decorative cane overlay to the rim, corners and across each side. The plain basket surfaces with some accretion of dust/dirt in the areas beneath the overlay cane sections. Overall in good condition commensurate with vintage age.
