finely woven in squares to the rectangular panels, bamboo supports, squared form with over-head loop handle. H.510mm. CONDITION REPORT: Originally designed for ikebana floral art arranging. Symmetrical tall square section form made using a light weight cane, strengthened at the corners with split bamboo, also used for the handle. The corners, rim and handle with decorative/structural bindings of fine split cane Some surface variations to the basket weave but overall in good condition commensurate with vintage age.
