Para Matchitt (1933-2021), untitled Māori abstract themes, linocut block, c.1960s, 405 x 750mm. Note: This is the original linocut block from which the prints were taken. 'Para and I trained together in 1957 as Art & Craft Advisers for the Education Dept. We later worked as Itinerant specialists in the Waikato area, and it was in Hamilton during this time that Para carved this lino block, which he exchanged with me for some of my pottery.'
