CONDITION REPORT. Mounted behind Perspex glazing (cuts out 99% UV). Simple timber frame, overall 800 x 640mm. Image: to the left a curtain is loosely gathered, patterned with a leafy vine pattern, the left fold pattern incorporates two sinister eyes in the upper area. The strong shadows top/bottom curtain, pattern on two pots and plant in left hand one, frame of window and angular tree trunk (?) are detailed in black ink. the rest of the design - wallpaper, leaning framed picture (?) window frame architrave, etc are rendered in graphite and remnant fine felt tip pen, some of the ink has faded completely and the impression line remains. A few minute studio splashes of oil paint. Evident horizontal creases from rolling and vertical crease to right hand side.
